Spitfire's website is undergoing a major redesign, plans include:
- information about Spitfire and our products and our services.
- A daily (or somewhat daily) diary of technical issues that we adddress with the hope of building a useful knowledge base
- A directory of companies in the Pittsburgh region that provide support for Open Source projects. (Update: The folks at Creative Web Technologies have offered to build and host linuxpittsburgh.com to provide this directory. Thanks!)
- A Questions and Answers section where you can post technical question, and we will try to come up with answers.
- A "how to do it" section where we will document some of the more common fixes we use when solving problems.
The site is created and maintained using CMS Made Simple (cmsmadsimple.org) and we are going to try to make the update process as transparent as possible. So rather than work on the site offline and then "go live" we intend to document what we are doing and evolve the site as we go.
